Sealed, timestamped PDF
Once signed, the final PDF includes the signature boxes, the audit pages and the original as an attachment, and is closed by a PAdES seal with a trusted timestamp: any later change is detectable.
Tamper-evident audit trail
Every action (opening, reading, code sent, signature) is written to an append-only hash-chained log, with date, time, IP address and browser.
Anchored on Bitcoin
The audit trail fingerprints are regularly anchored to the Bitcoin blockchain with OpenTimestamps: independent proof of time that anyone can check, even without Easy Sign.
Sender countersignature
Add your own digital signature to the final PDF (Acrobat, Dike, Firma4NG…). The system checks that the seal is still valid and that nothing in the document was changed.
Delivery by email and PEC
The signed document is sent automatically to your client and to you, right away or after your countersignature. With PEC configured it also goes by Italian certified email, receipts included.
Public verification
Anyone can check whether a PDF is genuine by dropping it on the verification page (the fingerprint is computed on the device) or by entering the code printed in the document.
Verifiable export
Each case exports to a ZIP with documents, audit trail, anchoring proofs and a script that re-checks everything on its own, without the application.
API and webhooks
REST API documented with OpenAPI, dedicated keys and idempotent requests. Signed webhooks deliver every event to your business software, or as plain-text push notifications.
AI assistants
Connect Claude or ChatGPT: ask the assistant to prepare a case, place signatures on placeholders and send it, always after your authorisation.
Custom numbering
Number cases in your own format (for example FE-2026-000128) or set a reference by hand, to link them to quotes and jobs.

What kind of signature is it?
Easy Sign produces an OTP electronic signature (a simple electronic signature under the EU eIDAS regulation): it is admissible as evidence and well suited to quotes, orders, terms and conditions and acceptances. It is not a qualified electronic signature: where the law requires a qualified signature, add one, for example as a sender countersignature.

Frequently asked questions
Is an OTP signature legally valid?
It is a simple electronic signature under the EU eIDAS regulation: it cannot be denied legal effect or admissibility as evidence just because it is electronic, and courts assess it freely. The sealed, timestamped PDF and the audit trail document who signed, when and how.
Does my client need an app or an account?
No. They receive a personal link by email, read the document in the browser on their phone or computer, and confirm with the one-time code they receive.
How can I check that a signed document is genuine?
On the public verification page, drop the PDF (its fingerprint is computed on your device, the file is not uploaded) or enter the verification code printed in the document. Seal and timestamp can also be checked in Adobe Acrobat Reader.
Where are documents stored?
Each Easy Sign installation is dedicated: original documents, signed PDFs and audit trails stay on that instance's server in immutable storage, without going through third-party signing platforms.
Can I connect Easy Sign to my business software?
Yes: the REST API and webhooks let you create and send cases and receive signing events. You can also connect an AI assistant such as Claude or ChatGPT.
How much does Easy Sign cost?
Plans start at €12 a month (excl. VAT, billed yearly) for 20 cases a month. You pay for the documents you send, not for signers: your clients sign for free with no account. During the rollout the first month is free.
