Website and service operator

Information provided under Article 7 of Italian Legislative Decree 70/2003 (implementing the EU e-Commerce Directive) and Article 2250 of the Italian Civil Code.

The service

Easy Sign is a service for getting documents signed with an OTP electronic signature, that is a simple electronic signature under Article 3 of Regulation (EU) 910/2014 (“eIDAS”). It is not an advanced electronic signature, nor a qualified electronic signature. Under Article 25 eIDAS it cannot be denied legal effect or admissibility as evidence solely because it is electronic; courts assess its evidential value freely, taking into account its security, integrity and immutability features.

Customers are responsible for choosing the right type of signature for each document. Where the law requires a qualified signature, or for specific approval of unfair terms under Italian law (Articles 1341-1342 of the Civil Code), a qualified signature may be needed.

Terms of use, support levels and the data processing agreement are governed by the contract signed with each customer.
